250th Anniversary Celebration Walk

At this year’s Elk RiverFest, we are excited to celebrate our country’s 250th anniversary with a historical story celebration walk.

Event attendees can view over 20 story panels featuring historic events that occurred within the United States of America and Elk River in the same timeline.

See what was happening in Elk River from the Boston Tea Party era to World War 1 and on.

The story walk will begin near the Orono Park playground and head toward the dog park and fishing pier.

Enjoy a walk away from the event busyness as you read about our city, our country, and celebrate 250 years of America!
